The retired couple had just downsized from a larger native garden. They wanted a similar garden on a smaller scale. The inclusion of a dry creek bed reduces water run-off, enabling water to be retained in the subsoil. They are now able to sit outside under a small verandah and watch birds feast on the many flowers in the garden.
